Decent water bottle and functionally works as advertized. My biggest issue is that it continues to smell and taste like plastic despite multiple washings. The bottle is priced similar to other name brands and doesn't present an incredible savings. The bottle is easy to open and fill. The nozzle for drinking can be difficult to get water out of during high intensity activity.

I really liked the HydraPak Polar Bottle until I tried to drink from it. It is a good size that fits nicely in my hand. The screw-off cover makes it easy to fill it with ice and it keeps water cold for hours. At first I thought about removing the carry ring but I'm glad I didn't. It provided a super easy to wat to carry the bottle around. Everything about it was great until I started drinking from the bottle. Because I drink large amounts of water and because you have to drink thru a nipple, it requires too much effort to drink large amounts of water. You have to squeeze the bottle to drink more than a sip since it is too difficult to just suck water out. Because of the shape of bottle and the insulation, you need to squeeze the bottom of the bottle which is not very ergonomic. If you are using it on the go like and just need a quick sip, the nipple allows for it to be used quickly without being distracted by opening a cover.

I had been using a generic 20oz plastic water bottle for years and was looking for a replacement. This flask turned out to be a perfect replacement for the non-insulated bottle I had. The insulation helps keep my water cold and also prevents condensation on the outside, which was a probably I had with my old bottle.The price was also right. This feels like a good value for my money. After using it once I ended up buying a second one for my daughter to use on our hikes.My only complaint, and this is a very minor one, is that it can be a bit hard to squeeze, so getting a large volume of water out of it can be a challenge. This was also true with my old bottle, but it feels maybe a bit harder to squeeze?

Great bottle . Use it on my gravel bike . Keeps water cold . Ice cubes last at least 2 hours even on a sunny day. Cap works well .

My grandson uses this for his soccer games. It doesn’t leak & keeps his water cool.
